was easier for me to relate to cause I was still in Junior High/High School when I played it and actually had a bit of Squall in me. However, VII is a better game. Better magic/equip system, better story and gameplay that's not as slow or repetitive (aura+Limit=ownage). Also, FFVIII killed magic. Seriously, all you did was equip it, using it was useless. ALSO , summon animations were WAAAAAY too long.

I have once again started Crisis Core: FFVII and will move on to playing FF7 on the PSN, then watching Advent Children complete on blu-ray in preparation for whatever Square has planned on PS3 FF7 wise. Remake or new chapter.
But it's far too short term of a plan to compete with the PS3 long-term which still sold over 50,000 units in light of the 360 price-cut. This fall is going to be the telling the stat.
Then again, this is VGChartz, unreliable garbage.
This could get heated. I for one am not interested in it's multiplatform existence, but if it goes multi, revenge will be sweet for the PS3 crowd after what happened last week.

Though I'm not pumped to see the trilogy carry on personally on the PS3, I know alot of people who would like that. It'll be interesting to see.
